Terms and Conditions (T&C) of Peak2Climb

 


 

1. Scope of Application


(1) These Terms and Conditions (T&C) apply to all contracts concluded between Peak2Climb, represented by [your company or name], and participants or customers.


(2) The T&C apply to:

Participation in the Peak2Climb Challenge (on a self-selected event day).

The purchase of physical products (e.g., clothing, equipment) via our online shop.

 


 

2. Participation in the Peak2Climb Challenge


(1) The challenge can be completed on a day individually chosen by the participant. There is no fixed event date.


(2) Registration is completed online via our website.


(3) Participation becomes binding only after the participation fee has been received.


(4) After successful registration, participants will receive a digital starter package with all relevant information.

 


 

3. Conditions of Participation & Disclaimer


(1) Participation is at the participant’s own risk and responsibility. Participants must prepare independently and ensure they are physically and technically capable of completing the challenge.


(2) Peak2Climb accepts no liability for accidents, injuries, or damages during the challenge, unless caused by gross negligence or intent on our part.


(3) Participants must wear appropriate protective gear and comply with traffic regulations.


(4) The event takes place in public spaces. Peak2Climb does not provide route security or catering.

 


 

4. Sale of Physical Products


(1) Physical products (e.g., clothing, equipment, accessories) can be purchased via the Peak2Climb online shop.


(2) Product displays in the shop do not constitute a legally binding offer, but an invitation to order.


(3) A purchase contract is concluded once Peak2Climb confirms the order by email.

 


 

5. Prices and Payment Terms


(1) Prices for challenge participation and physical products are listed on the website and include statutory VAT.


(2) Payments are made via the available payment methods (e.g., credit card, PayPal, bank transfer).


(3) The participation fee is due immediately upon registration. For product purchases, payment is due before shipping.

 


 

6. Cancellation, Withdrawal, and Returns


6.1 Cancellation of Challenge Registration


(1) Since the event is completed individually, a refund of the participation fee is excluded once the digital starter package has been provided.


(2) Transfer of participation to another person is possible upon request.


6.2 Right of Withdrawal for Physical Product Purchases


(1) Customers have the legal right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without stating any reason.


(2) The withdrawal period begins on the day the customer receives the goods.


(3) Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the product was faulty or incorrectly delivered.

 


 

7. Delivery and Shipping of Physical Products


(1) Ordered products are shipped within the specified delivery time.


(2) Shipping costs are displayed during the ordering process.


(3) If a product is unavailable, the customer will be informed immediately and may choose a refund or alternative delivery.

 


 

8. Intellectual Property, Trademark Rights & Use of Media Content


(1) The name Peak2Climb and the Peak2Climb logo are in the trademark registration process and are protected by copyright. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.


(2) All content (texts, images, logos) of Peak2Climb is protected by copyright. Use without express permission is not allowed.


(3) Participants agree that Peak2Climb may use photos and videos submitted by them during or after the challenge for marketing purposes. Anyone who does not agree must inform us in advance.

 


 

9. Data Protection


(1) Peak2Climb processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).


(2) Detailed information on data processing can be found in our privacy policy on the website.

 


 

10. Final Provisions


(1) The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.


(2) If individual provisions of these T&C are invalid, the remainder of the contract remains valid.
