You’re free to choose the order of the climbs, but we recommend starting with the first ascent from Brannenburg via the Förchenbachtalstraße, which is subject to a toll for cars and motorcycles.
Your challenge begins at the parking lot of the Wendelstein rack railway in Brannenburg, with a steep climb shortly after the toll station. Right from the start, an 18% gradient demands your full effort and leaves little room to warm up.
The winding road takes you through a picturesque landscape, but don’t let it fool you – the climb remains steady and relentless.
Alternating between tough gradients and gentler sections, the route gives you a chance to catch your breath and take in the stunning surroundings.
The shortest – but by no means easiest – climb starts in Bayrischzell. This route rewards you with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and sparks your sense of adventure.
The route from Niederaudorf leads you through dense forests and beautiful valleys. Enjoy the steady rhythm of the climb as you gradually gain elevation – until you reach your goal at the highest point of the Sudelfeld Pass.
